VIRTUAL CELEBRATION OF TEACHERS’ DAY

With educational institutes across the country shut, DAV Centenary Public School, Nabha decided to celebrate Teachers' Day through the virtual platform on Saturday 5th September,2020 under the able and vigilant guidance of our worthy Principal Dr Meena Mehta. As we know that this day is celebrated with great fervour in schools every year to mark the birthday of great academician and philosopher, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Like all the other festivals and occasions, we celebrated Teacher's Day too. It was also celebrated online in a similar manner.

All the staff members of DAV Centenary Public School, Nabha celebrated Teacher's day on zoom app.This e-programme was started at 4:00 O’ clock by enchanting Gayatri Mantra. All the teachers were spelled bound with the melodious song sung by Mr.Kuldeep Rai. All videos and presentation made by students were shown. Teachers were very happy to see the sweet fruit of their work through the performances of their students. Then, it was embellished with the motivational hymn sung by Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma. Teachers' work was acknowledged and appreciated by using adjectives.

To conclude, the honorable Principal, Dr Meena Mehta appreciated the worth of Happy Teacher's Day and showered her blessings on her teachers. Teachers were given a token of love in the form of e-certificates. The e-programme ended by singing DAV Anthem by all the teachers. Everybody enjoyed the e-program.
