DAV Nabha celebrated Happy Father's Day

DAV Cent. Public School,Nabha celebrated Happy Father's Day. To celebrate this special bond between children and their father, Father’s Day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June.
To honour fatherhood, Father's Day was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm by the students of DAV Cent.Public School, Nabha on 21June, 2020 under the vigilant and inspirational leadership of the honorable Principal Dr. Meena Mehta. Although all are stuck in their homes due to pandemic situation, yet all the students from primary to Senior secondary expressed their love and respect to their fathers through their imaginative and innovative creativities by making attractive cards with beautiful and emotional messages and videos.Since this day also happens to be international yoga day, all the fathers along with their children took part in celebrating both the occasions. The students with their father performed the yoga Asanas at home and made the day special for each other.All their creativities exhibited their emotions that their father is a true teacher, friend and guide for them and emphasized the truth that a father's love for his child is everything in the world.All the students from primary to senior secondary posted their creativities and screenshots of performing yoga with their father in their class WhatsApp groups.

The worthy Principal Dr. Meena Mehta congratulated all the students and teachers on happy Father's Day and making this event a great success.She appreciated the zeal of the students for their participation. She expressed her feelings by saying that father's day is a special day for all the children as well as fathers as it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. The main motive of celebrating Father's day is to acknowledge the purest bond of paternal love.She also admired the efforts of the teachers who encouraged and motivated the students to take initiative and perform activities on these two occasions.She concluded her message by saying that all children should always listen to their father's instructions and follow them in their life.
