DAV Cent.Nabha celebrated Mother's Day
To honour the most wonderful creation of God and to commemorate motherhood, Mother's Day was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm by the students of DAV Cent.Public School, Nabha on10 May, 2020 under the vigilant and inspirational leadership of the honorable Principal Dr. Meena Mehta. Although all are stuck in their homes due to pandemic situation, yet all the students from primary to Senior secondary expressed their love and respect to their mothers through their imaginative and innovative creativities by composing and reciting poems and songs, making attractive cards with beautiful and emotional thoughts. The students of secondary and senior secondary put extra efforts by baking cakes,cooking a variety of their favourite delicacies and treating them to their mothers.All their creativities exhibited their emotions that their mother is God, teacher, friend and guide for them and emphasized the truth that a mother's love for her child is everything in the world.All students posted their creativities in their class WhatsApp groups. Their selfies and videos of singing and dancing performances with their moms and their family members touched the heart of all the teachers.
The worthy Principal Dr. Meena Mehta congratulated all the students and teachers on happy Mother's Day and making this event a great success.She appreciated the zeal of the students for their participation. She expressed her feelings by saying that mother's day is a special day for all the children and mothers as it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family who have the magic touch to make all things beautiful. The main aim of celebrating Mother's day is to acknowledge the purest bond of love and pay regard to the untiring multitasker mothers.She also applauded the efforts of the teachers who encouraged and motivated the students during this lockdown period.She concluded her message by saying that all children should always obey and follow their mothers' instructions.
