DAV NABHA CELEBRATED REPUBLIC DAY

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated with all its solemnity and grandeur at DAV Centenary Public  School, Nabha on 25th January 2020 under the guidance of our honourable Principal  Dr. Meena Mehta in the junior wing. On this prestigious day a special morning assembly was conducted in which the students delivered speeches and recited poems on Republic Day and its significance in or lives. The students pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “ India”. The choir group presented a patriotic song “ Hind ke Bahaduro “will full dynamism. The song reverberated in the surroundings  It was followed by a mesmerizing performance by Class II students. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding. Then Mr. Rohit Arya acquainted the students about the hierarchy of Presidents from 1950 till 2020.

The Principal highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. She also made the students aware about the meaning of constitution and it's need and importance after the British rule .She emphasized that we have attained the freedom after lot of sacrifices and we should use it for the welfare of the country.
