DAV Cent. Public School,Sr.Sec.,Nabha has organised Tree plantation and distribution of saplings by Avni Eco-Club on dated 26.8.19 under the vigilant guidance of Worthy Principal Dr.Meena Mehta.On this occasion,the Principal planted a sapling with her graceful and benevolent hands and also distributed saplings to the members of Avni Eco-Club of the School, to plant them at their homes.The Principal guided the students about the importance of planting the saplings at appropriate places so that they can flourish properly and motivated the students to give specific names to saplings and to look after them like a member of their family.The Principal also encouraged the students to avoid the use of polythene bags and make their surroundings green and free from plastic pollution.The students of Avni Eco-Club of the School were given the saplings of plants like Rose,Hibiscus, Neem, Sheesham, Gulmohar, Amla, Arjun, Jamun, Amaltas, Sehajan and Kaner.
