DAV NABHA CELEBRATES FOUNDATION DAY OF DAV INSTITUTIONS

DAV Centenary Public School, Nabha celebrated the foundation day of DAV Institutions on June 1, 2019 under the vigilance of the worthy school Principal  Dr.Miss Meena Mehta.On this auspicious occasion, Vedic Havan Yajana was performed by all the staff members in the presence of Principal in the premises of the school followed by Vedic Yajna Prayer.  Final oblations were poured in Havan agni by the worthy Principal. The music teacher, Ms. Madhurvani chanted Sangh Sangathan Sutra  followed by the bhajans. Ms. Manju Verma explained that the main motive of DAV institutions is to impart moral education alongwith  English curriculum to the students.

In her address, the Principal Dr.Miss Meena Mehta explained the importance of Vedic  Yajna. She said that havana purifies our soul and inspires us to do good deeds. She emphasized that a teacher must adopt three practices ‘learn, unlearn and relearn’ with the motive to update themselves which is the need of the hour. She congratulated all the teachers and blessed them by showering flowers on them.
