Parents Orientation Programme’ Aagaaz ‘of Class Nursery
DAV centenary Public School, Nabha organised an Orientation programme’ Aagaaz ‘for the parents of class Nursery under the able and vigilant guidance of our worthy Principal Miss Meena Mehta on 4th December 2018. The main aim of the event was to familiarize the parents about the curriculum,rules and regulations,teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities. The Chief Guest of the day were Sh.Kewal Singh (Sarpanch ,Vill.Birdhano),Sh.Paramjit Singh(President of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Club)and Sh.Karamjit Singh Mehram(Reporter of Ajit Newspaper).
The program started with the welcome speech by Mrs.Ragini. Then the Principal welcomed all the guests and appreciated the parents for sparing their precious time . After that Mrs. Praveen Lata guided the parents about the do's and don'ts that has to be adopted by the parents for the students. The function started with the chanting of Gayatri Mantra by the tiny tots of nursery. It was followed by other items like English plays, dances, storytelling and action songs. The students gave scintillating performance
Mrs Praveen Lata acquainted everyone about the learning parameters and also informed the parents about the innovative teaching and learning methodologies that are implemented by the school. Furthermore, she emphasized that the children must be given the chance to develop their creativity to the fullest. The program ended on a good note with the aim of growing our children into happy, skillful and creatively well adjusted citizens.
In the end, the Principal expressed her gratitude for the chief guests of the day and the parents for their presence.She also suggested the parents to inhibit the children from using mobile phones as they have adverse effects on the health of children.She also motivated them to send nutritious food in their lunch.She also congratulated the teachers of Nursery for a wonderful show.
