Cancer Awareness Programme

In the campus of D.A.V Centenary Public School Nabha, a cancer awareness programme was organised under the kind supervision of our Principal Miss Meena Mehta. Mr Sukhdeep Singh Gill,the director of Global Cancer Concern India,Ludhiana addressed the students of the school.He made all the children aware about the fatal disease. He told that nowadays cancer is spreading like a foul smell. Many of the people have become the victim of this disease but now this disease is curable. He suggested children to look after their eating habits. He laid emphasis on avoiding junk food and instead they should start eating vegetables and other nutritious food.He explained that there are many hospitals being run under this organisation where people can go and get treated by the concerned doctors. He also laid emphasis on morning walk and other physical exercises to remain hale and hearty.At last,the principal Miss Meena Mehta thanked Mr Sukhdeep singh Gill for making them aware about this fatal disease.
