Sanskrit Declamation Competition in DAV Nabha by Bharat Vikas Parishad

Sanskrit Declamation Competition was held in DAV Centenary Public School, Nabha on 4 August 2018 under the able guidance of the Principal Miss Meena Mehta. It was organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Nabha for the students of classes VI-X.
Honourable Shri Manjeet Singh Chehal ,retired CEO was the Chief Guest of the day. He graced the occasion with his wife , Mrs. Kailash Chehalas a special Guest of Honour, who has also contributed to the society in the capacity of the Principal in Govt. Senior Secondary School, Nabha.
The function began with the welcome of the guests by Mr. Shubash Jindal , President , Bharat Vikas Parishad. Mr. Kamal Goyal, Secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad also graced the occasion. Mrs. Neelam Verma was on the stage conduct. The students of Classes VI-X participated in Sanskrit Declamation Competition and expressed their views on interesting topics with great confidence, conviction and clarity. These students zeal and fervor was due to their teachers Mrs. Neelam Verma and Miss Nancy. 
The Chief Guest Shri Manjeet Singh Chehal highlighted about the importance of Sanskrit Language and its origin. He also informed the students that Sanskrit is the easiest language in the world. He urged the participants and the audience to encourage and promote the language, Sanskrit. And he made presence on the dias as an interactive session with the students with his questionnaire and also cleared the students doubts.
The Chief Guest gave away the prizes and the certificates to all the participants on this occasion. Mr. Subash Jindal, President of Bharat Vikas Parishad thanked the chief guest for sparing his precious time along with her better half.
The session was concluded by the honourable Principal Ms. Meena Mehta .She presented a vote of thanks highlighting the importance of the Sanskrit and also insisted that one should know Sanskrit as it is mother of all the Indian languages. She extended her heart filled gratitudes to the Chief Guest Mr. Manjeet Singh Chehal, for his valuable presence along with his better half Mrs. Kailash Chehal ji and she also thanked Mr. Subash Jindal , President and Mr. Kamal Goyal ji, Secretary of Bharat Vikas Parishad , who make ceaseless efforts in promoting the culture of our country by organizing such competitions which are beneficial for the young generation.
